Just off the front steps begins the RiverWalk, a paved pathway that follows the Muskegon River through Big Rapids. Fishing, tennis courts, and softball fields can all be found along the RiverWalk.

Tube down the River! The Sawmill offers tube, canoe and kayak rentals. Bike your heart out on the Rails to Trails (White Pine Trail). Old train tracks that cross the state now are beautiful bike paths in the summer, and snowmobile paths in the winter. We are only 1/4 mile from the trail!

We are locted in the Historic Downtown District where you can enjoy fine dining, shopping, and even a movie at Big Rapids Cinema's.

Downtown Farmers Market: Every Tuesday from 2-6pm and Friday's from 8am-2pm. Friday's you can also enjoy music at the Downtown Pocket Park at Noon.
